Is this safe to seal a cedar herb garden or do I need to look for a product made with whey byproduct to be safe for consumption?

The BioShield Aqua Resin Stain Finish, would not hold up well in that type of environment. We recommend the Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey product for the exterior surface of raised garden beds, and the AFM SafeCoat DynoSeal for the interior, any part under soil. We've found that combination of products to hold up the best for raised garden beds.
