Bathroom tiles, especially glazed wall tiles, are very difficult, but not impossible to paint. The issue is the tile is generally very glossy, which makes it hard for the paint to adhere well. This can be accomplished by roughing up the tile first by lightly sanding it to give it some tooth. Then clean it off and apply our AFM Transitional Primer. Wait 24 hours and then apply AFM Zero VOC Semi-Gloss Paint. We do NOT recommend this process for tile flooring, as these paints were not designed to hold up to foot traffic very well. As always, test first in an inconspicuous area to make sure it bonds well, we offer sample sizes for testing.
