I have MCS and we are having no-VOC cabinets fabricated for our laundry room, which will be painted using AFM Safecoat. Should the PureBond plywood and solid wood be primed before painting with Safecoat? Would semi-gloss be best for laundry room cabinets? You should first prime your wood cabinets with AFM Safecoat Transitional Primer. Here is a link to this product: https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/All-Products/AFM-SafeCoat-Transitional-Prim
erAfter you have primed your cabinets, you can apply AFM Safecoat Zero VOC paint. Semi-Gloss would be the most suitable sheen for a laundry room. Please refer to the PDF for Installation Guidelines on our website.
