Yes, the Vermont Natural Coatings, Exterior, Penetrating Water Proofer could be used as a non-toxic sealer for an outdoor eating table. This assumes that the table is made of wood and it has been freshly sanded. The Penetrating Water Proofer cannot penetrate if there is paint or other sealers already on the surface.Another option is our AFM Safecoat Polyureseal EXT which is an exterior grade polyurethane that is also non-toxic and has greater durability and abrasion resistance.
