Vermont Natural Coatings Penetrating Water Proofer is a non-toxic exterior sealer for wood siding, decks, fences, furniture, and most other outdoor wood surfaces. It may be applied to pressure-treated wood after 6 months. So, if your shed fits into this category and doesn't have any other finish of any sort on it (aka it's raw), it should work for your wood. However, water proofing is meant to protect against the elements such as rain. A sprinkler is more hard core and goes up against something a lot harder and with more force/water than a rain storm. So it may well not hold up to the force of a sprinkler like it would regular weather such as rain. Products are not tested for things like that. And always follow the manufacturer's application instructions. https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/core/media/media.nl?id=914045&c=772072&h=82
