We recommend the Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey. It is a wood sealer/stain that is non-toxic and weather repellent. It does not off-gas or contain any solvents. The solids content is from recycled whey protein from dairy farmers in Vermont. Another sealer is the all-natural, oil-based Rubio Monocoat Hybrid stain/sealer. Samples are available if you would like to test the colors on your wood.
