You may apply it with a brush, roller or sponge but spraying is best. The goal is to saturate the concrete and spraying forces the product into the pores better than gravity. Depending on the porosity, it will require 3 or more wet on wet coats.Per the directions: GBS Penetrating Sealer should be applied liberally to allow the surface to drink as much as possible without leaving puddles. Back roll to even out the material and to remove any puddles in low spots. Do this 3-5 times, always coating wet on wet. Ideally you will work with two people. One spraying and one using a 3/8 inch nap paint roller to spread out excess (do not allow excess puddles to dry as results could be slippery).
