GBS Penetrating Concrete Sealer was intended for normal basement floors, poured walls, sidewalks, driveways, airport runways, bird baths and many other applications. The main requirement is that the concrete is unsealed, clean, dry and porous which it usually is. However, countertops have a different very dense mix with a high psi far above normal concrete. Therefore, the sealer may not penetrate. It must be tested first. The same applies to power troweled or polished concrete. There is no minimum thickness.
