No. Not only is the Straito is not dimensional stable enough to go over carpet, but it is also a glue down floor. A better bet over carpet would be the Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc, a floating click floor that has a core of MDF. Alternately you could tear out the carpet and install the Straito on your subfloor, provided it is clean and flat.
