Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc will expand and contract when humidity increases or decreases. If the weight is too heavy, it will restrict the movement. The weight of countertops, especially granite/quartz/stone plus the weight of cabinets will be too much for the floor and will restrict its movement. Therefore, we normally recommend not putting floating floors underneath cabinets.In this case, it appears there may be an exception since the weight of one small cabinet is not very much. We still recommend leaving space around the perimeter for expansion.
