Marmoleum should not fade when exposed to natural light. It has been tested to and passed ASTM F 1515 for Light Stability by color change. Furniture being placed on top of the Click tiles should not be an issue. One thing to watch out for is the feet/pressure points of the item. If they are small/narrow, you'll want to use glides to help distribute the weight of the item more evenly. This will also help if you do plan on moving things around in the future. If possible, you would also want to keep the feet from standing right on a seam.
