Does the click need a vapor barrier? In my case a 1st floor powder/laundry room with plywood subfloor on top of an unfinished but dehumidified basement? I'm confused by Forbo's subfloor guide, and various answers here for different situations that call for the need or no need for a vapor barrier and the type. Some say just the Moisture Block and some say only use Quiet Walk because it's the only one that wicks moisture?

According the manufacturer, no vapor barrier is required for warranty purposes whenever applying their Cinch Loc Seal product over a plywood subfloor. It is only "required" over a concrete subfloor. If your basement is dehumidified, moisture will be controlled and therefore no barrier is needed. If you basement is not dehumidified, then a barrier would be needed.QuietWalk Plus is an underlayment and vapor barrier, it can be used because, unlike most vapor barriers, it does not trap moisture. Instead it wicks moisture out and up into the ambient air. This is an option if you wish to use it to help make your floor quieter and warmer. It is not required.
