The only product we carry that would work over a painted floor is the AFM Polyureseal BP. It is a non-toxic, water-based polyurethane that can go over water-based paints. 3 coats are recommended for a floor, and it creates a hard, durable finish. It is designed for foot traffic, and should withstand most shoes. Usually the floor will be fine, even with high heels, but keep in mind it is not 100% scratch-proof should something sharp and heavy be dragged across it.
