Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Stain is a better option as it may be used on new, pressure-treated and weathered wood (pressure treated wood should sit for 6 months to a year before application). The recommended number of coats is two. Depending upon the amount of sunlight, rain, snow etc. the colored stains will hold up two to four years. We suggest you order small samples online first to test.
