I'm interested in the Amorin product, but I've read the cleaning instructions and it seems like a lot of work to restore the floor to it's natural state if it gets dull. Is it really such a task or does the floor take a long time to reach a dull state? Also, I would be installing this product on a porch that is not temperature controlled. Will this product hold up?

Amorin Waterproof Cork has not been warranted for outdoor use. We have tested this product ourselves by submerging a plank for 5 days underwater with no change in weight, length, width or thickness. The subfloor needs to be smooth and flat as possible (3/16" deflection over 8' span). UV exposure from the sun can fade the flooring quicker but will not crack the surface like hardwood. All floors will dull over time depending upon the amount and type of foot traffic. Based on our experience, the coating is extremely tough and is difficult to scratch or wear through. The manufacturer provides a lifetime warranty on the structure and the finish.
