Can this concrete paint be used over old wall paint that ended up in the perimeter area?

AFM SafeCoat, Concrete Floor Paint can be used on top of previous coatings as long as that coating is not oil-based, glossy or flaking/peeling up.This product is a water-based paint and would require the use of AFM SafeCoat, Transitional Primer if going over an old oil-based coating.If the previous coating is water-based but glossy, you would first need to degloss the surface by either chemical or mechanical abrasion (aka sanding) before applying the floor paint.
