Hello! This looks like a great product for our garage floor. What would you recommend for the garage walls (and basement walls)? They have not been painted in decades, have been known to get damp (even wet after heavy rainfall). Would you recommend sanding first (with what product), then priming (with anything in particular), and then painting? We'd like a product that is eco-friendly/non-toxic/low-VOC but that will also hopefully protect against moisture/mildew etc. Thanks very much!

If there is a mold and mildew issue, then our Caliwel Home and Office would be the best product. It will inhibit the growth of mold and mildew for a very long time. It's non-toxic and zero VOC. Two coats can be applied directly on the surface or primed if the surface is questionable. Please refer to the installation guidelines for more details. However, if there is serious water intrusion, you should fix the source of the water problem and seal the walls first as paint is not the way to seal moisture. Our GBS Penetrating concrete sealer is an excellent non-toxic sealer for concrete walls or floors because it penetrates 3-5" into the concrete and permanently blocks the flow of water.
