The recommended number of coats for Bioshield Wood Counter Finish is as needed. Surfaces must be clean, free of grease, absorbent and dry. All surfaces must be sanded no finer than #100 in order to absorb the Wood Counter Finish properly. Apply generously with a brush, allow 15-20 minutes for the surface to absorb the oil and then wipe the surface with a lint free cloth. This process can be repeated after 8-12 hours if the surface is still absorbent. Product is fully cured after two to three weeks.
