When sealing cement, we suggest using GBS Penetrating Concrete Sealer. This product comes in a penetrating version that soaks in 2" to 5" and will not change the look of the cement, as well as a gloss finish that offers a topical sheen. It was designed to stop the intrusion of moisture in concrete, brick, stucco and all other masonry surfaces. It comes with a 15-year warranty, the best in the industry against water infiltration. Application requirements include that the concrete be clean, dry, porous and neutral pH. Highly dense concrete that has been power-troweled may need to be etched or ground to open the pores. Previously sealed, painted or waxed surfaces may need to be stripped or cleaned as well. Brand new concrete may have to wait until dry and the pH neutralizes. Please read the installation instructions carefully, and call if you have further questions.
