I used this over white eggshell paint on a cabinet and some of the streaks turned yellow.� What would cause this? Too much product?� Thanks!

Yes, that is most likely what caused the yellowing in the streaks. When the product is put on to thick it won't dry properly or evenly which can cause the discoloration of the thicker/not cured properly areas.
