I am looking for a primer that will work for both new drywall (approx. 120 sf) and previously painted walls (approx. 120 sf) Will the ECOS Universal Primer fit the bill? You can certainly use the Universal Primer to go over your previously painted walls and the drywall. Depending on how thirsty your drywall is, it may just require more primer to go over it, this should be apparent as you apply it.2022 UPDATE: ECOS now offers a Drywall Primer, which is formulated to go specifically over drywall and raw plaster.
