If you use the Vermont Natural Coatings Waterproofer over the raw wood of your chicken coop, you can't paint over it (water based paint will not be able to bond well to waterproofed wood).We recommend you paint your design first, and then you can go over that with AFM Safecoat EXT Exterior Polyureseal Clear to add a layer of abrasion and weather/water resistance.
