This is a clear penetrating product, so it will soak into your wood and not have any kind of finish. It will only look different when the wood gets water on it, the moisture will bead up on top of the wood rather than soaking in. As it is a penetrating product with absolutely no pigment added, it does absolutely nothing to prevent UV rays from weathering/graying the wood.
