I have a new cedar fence that I'm looking to seal against weather and UV rays to preserve it longer; which of your products would you recommend for a brand new fence? I do not want to stain it or add any color to the wood; Id rather have the natural color of the wood come through. Thank you!

Yes, of course, everyone wants to see the beauty of the wood, especially when the wood is new. However, any clear coating enables the sun to penetrate right through it and will turn the wood grey within 1-2 years depending upon how much direct sun it receives. A cedar fence that is protected by trees or large overhangs might last longer. If your fence receives direct sun, pigmented sealers such as our Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Exterior Stain or Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Oil protect the wood much better and will last 4+ years depending on how much sun.
