Can this be effectively used on exterior composite stone to remove iron and not damage surface or remove color of veneer?

I reached out to the manufacturer, and they said it's never been tested on that so they don't know. So, the only way you would know is to test it in an inconspicuous place to make sure. We have no other suggestions for that use.
