I have a 40 year old teak dining room table. After wiping it down there are areas that are lighter than others from rubbing too hard. can I apply this Koloranti teak oil to blend the light and darker areas to make them less noticeable without stripping the wood down first. I am not looking for perfection just an improvement? Thank you

Per the Application Instructions down toward the bottom of the page under Specs, "Application Instructions -- Aged furniture: Clean all surfaces of grease, grime and loose particles. Old grayed/worn surfaces can either be cleaned with a steel brush or, where not desired, the grayed/worn surface should be sanded off." Otherwise, the teak oil won't stick.
