Vermont Natural Exterior Penetrating Water Proofer works by soaking into the wood and repelling water. Please remember that any surface can be slippery when wet. If the wood has been previously sealed or painted, this product will not soak in and will not perform as designed. We suggest you order a sample to try it out for yourself.
