I want to use Rubio Monocoat 2C to stain & seal some new unfinished drawers I'm installing in the pantry. it's a high-touch surface, sometimes with oily hands (cooking!). I want minimal maintenance. I'd like to be able to just wipe them clean with a wet rag, like I do on my latex-painted cabinets. Should I seal with something else after the 2C?

Oil based sealers are generally not the best for high touch areas as they will stain and show fingerprints more easily. We would recommend 2-3 coats of our topical coating AFM Acrylacq which is a non-toxic lacquer substitute. This is clear and can be applied over a water-based stain such as our AFM Durotone or Bioshield AquaResin Stain Finish. This way you will have a color with a durable easy to wipe down finish.
