Wood dust comes from the destructive processes that actively create sawdust (saw blades, sanding, etc). So if you cutting and sanding furniture in a woodshop, that would create wood dust. Wood dust does not manifest from finished furniture after the fact. As such, this product has no effect on wood dust or sawdust.This Vermont Penetrating Water Proofer is meant for application over raw wood. It provides no abrasion resistance, no topical seal, no finish, and no UV protection. The wood will continue to look and age like raw wood. It should not be used on indoor wooden furniture, this is an exterior grade product.
