It says do not apply when temperatures are before 50 degrees F. Also says it dries in 1 hour and needs a 48 hr full cure time. Can it drop below 50 degree during that 48 hour cure time?

Sure. General rule of thumb, cooler temps mean this will take longer to dry/cure. Warmer temps means it may dry/cure faster. Cooler means more than 48 hours for full cure.
