We spoke with Vermont Natural Coatings and they said that the Water Proofer would work fine over RAW wood, but they did not know if it would work over the Sherwin-Williams products you are speaking about. The best thing to do would be to test on an inconspicuous area to make sure the product soaks in and and does not have any adverse chemical reactions. We offer sample sizes of this product just for that purpose. Good luck!
