What paint would you recommend for painting stair treads that experience heavy wear and tear? Would a primer and sealer be needed as well? I have read that exterior paints for porches/ floors might offer the best durability, so was wondering if I should go with your exterior porch/ floor paint (which may be meant more for use with concrete, perhaps?). Thank you!

You could use either ECOS Interior Floor Paint or ECOS Interior Anti-Slip Floor Paint but not the Exterior Porch paint as it's meant only for concrete. Both products I mentioned are suitable for direct application onto bare wood. Previously painted floors must be clean, dry and free of loose or flaking paint. These two ECOS floor paints will key to most water-based finishes, but a test area is always advisable. It is suggested you first order small samples online for testing.
