hi, Can I install over painted countertop?

When applying Marmoleum sheet to a countertop, you need to use their adhesive called Forbo, L910W, Wall & Countertop Adhesive. However, this adhesive should not be applied to a painted surface. You would need to sand the paint off the countertop in order for it to properly adhere.
