Will this help against wood boring bees? We are having to replace a rotting deck that also had bees boring into them. Any suggestions?

Sorry, wood boring/carpenter bees are difficult to prevent and no coating will work. Trapping them seems to be the best solution or they will destroy the wood around your home. Look up carpenter bee traps online and you will find many good ones.
