No. There could be problem with adhesion, so it's best to allow the stain to dry for at least several weeks, especially if it's an oil based stain. Once thoroughly dry, you should apply the Gulf Synthetics PermaBond primer and then the Deck Revive as instructed. This will completely cover up your existing stain and provide a very durable slip resistant coating.
