I just spoke with AFM. They said it's actually just softened water (meaning not hard water). They are going to alter the wording.
Could you give a complete ingredient list? Water softener is not an ingredient and could be a huge number of chemicals. If you could explicitly list all ingredients I would be grateful. Thanks you! AFM SafeChoice, Carpet Shampoo Cleaners
