I applied Bioshield Primer #5 then Bioshield Hardwax (#11 I think) to my floor 12 years ago. I have cleaned the floor since , but never reapplied any oil or wax products since. The whole floor still look great even after all these years, except for some high traffic areas. How do I treat those areas? Do I need to refinish the entire floor?

One of the benefits of oil based floor sealers is that you can refinish small areas without having to refinish the entire floor as with polyurethanes. If the high traffic areas are worn down to bare wood, then clean them and sand them smooth with no greater than 120 grit sandpaper. Then reapply the Bioshield Penetrating Oil Sealer as instructed and after a week or so of curing, apply the Bioshield Floor and Furniture Hardwax #32.
