Is the surface porous or uneven? I'm considering using this for flooring in a home pottery studio and want to make sure it can be easily mopped to remove silica dust. I'm not sure what the difference between "damp" and "wet" mopping is. Thanks!

It would serve you best to order samples online to see in person. That way, you'll see the actual surface as well as see the colors in your light versus an online picture.Wet mopping uses a mop dripping wet with cleaner/water.Damp mopping uses a mop slightly moistened with cleaner/water and wrung out before applying to the floor.
