Bioshield Wood Counter Finish is made for porous surfaces like wood. Slate is not as porous as wood, generally, so this product may not work for that application.AFM Safecoat offers Mexeseal for slate surfaces. It is available in a satin finish. We recommend trying a sample first to make sure it bonds well and you like the appearance. Samples are available on our website for almost every product.
