I am planning on using Rubio Hybrid Exterior on a cedar bench surrounding a hot tub. The wood is freshly sanded and clean, Do you think I need to use the RMC Exterior Cleaner in this case, or could I get by with RMC Cleaner for interiors?

The Exterior Wood Cleaner is great for removing any excess resin, mildew stains, in-grained dirt, and discoloration while opening the pores in the wood for best staining results.Since the bench has already been sanded, then yes, a lightly dampened cloth with the Rubio Monocoat Raw Wood Cleaner would be sufficient to remove any dust that has accumulated on the surface prior to staining.
