If I paint my front door with this paint will the paint stick? My husband says I have to paint the door with an oil based paint so it won't stick

ECOS Interior/Exterior zero VOC paint is a water-based, semi-gloss paint made for exterior woodwork and will bond well to any properly primed paint. If the wood is new, raw or freshly sanded, use ECOS wood primer. Do not use the Atmosphere Purifying Paint for this purpose as it is for interior use only.
