No. If this exterior waterproofer is applied correctly, all of the material soaks into the wood, leaving no top coat or trace that anything is different (the wood will age and be affected by UV rays like untreated wood). The only time the wood will look different is when the wood gets wet, water will bead on the surface as opposed to soaking in.
