I have raw wood paneling in my kitchen and know there will be food, water, and grease splashes. I want to protect the wood and keep a clean home. The paneling is floor to ceiling including behind the sink and stove. There are areas, of course, that will not receive as much splash but I feel like it would be good to protect the whole space with the same product, yeah? I think I still want the wood to be able to breathe since it is 200 sq ft of the home. What do you recommend?

The exterior waterproofer from Vermont is not the best choice for this project.SafeCoat Acrylacq is an indoor multi-purpose lacquer substitute, in either matt, satin or gloss sheen, that applies easily with a brush or sprayer. As a topical sealer, it protects against stains, marring and fingerprints. It's ideal for use on woodwork such as doors, window trim, baseboards, and furniture. Acrylacq dries to a hard, durable finish that won't yellow over time. Please read the instructions carefully.
