I would typically apply an oil paint to trim and doors because it is durable and washable. Does this paint compare to an oil in durability and washability?

Yes, the semi-gloss version of this product is durable and washable. There are no long term tests comparing this to oil-based paints, but our experience has been excellent. After selling this product for the past 23 years, no one has complained about its performance.
