Yes, these dryers have been tested and certified as Food Grade in Europe for decades. It is important to differentiate between the concerns of the pure dryer and its impact when used in small amounts in an oil product. The dryer is 'bound up' in the cured, polymerized oil during drying/curing. It is not a VOC. If this is still a concern, we do have another product called Herbal Oil #2 that does not have a dryer nor anti-skinning agent.
