We recommend using felt pads on the feet of furniture to prevent scratches, but there is still a point load that can create indentations in regular cork flooring. In many cases cork has a great memory and the indentations become invisible after a few days. However, we always recommend using wooden or plastic spacers to spread the load.We recently tested our WaterProof cork flooring and it appears to be much denser and less prone to indentations. We tested a refrigerator for 24 hours and it left a very minor dent almost imperceptible. However, we still recommend using pads or spacers.
