I stained my raw stairs 4 days ago with oil based Min Wax which still smells, but did not stain dark enough gray. It is either pine or white oak, not sure. Can I use Rubio Oil Plus 2 C over it? I am chem sensitive, so it was a bad decision, but I had no idea organic products existed. Any solutions?

Rubio Monocrat Oil Plus 2C is meant to be used over raw freshly sanded wood as it works by penetrating into the surface of the wood. If it has already been sealed with another oil-based sealer, it will not work well or may not work at all.Your best solution is to sand it off. Sooner the better, as the odor does not dissipate quickly. Unfortunately, there is no quick fix or band-aid for this type of problem.
