The requirements are clean, dry, neutral pH and porous. Encaustic tiles are compressed with a hydraulic press and therefore may not be porous enough. You need to test. If droplets of water will soak in immediately and turn the cement dark, you are good to go. If it beads up, then our sealer will not work. The only sealers that will work have solvents which we don't sell.
