Absolutely you need to buff it. That's what the instructions call for.We consulted with Bioshield and they recommended you try to buff it now to see if that fixes it. If it has been down for several months it may have enough grime to merit removal and reapplication following directions this time and doing the proper buffing.Bioshield also wished for me to point out, if prior to using the wax, did you apply a penetrating oil (such as Bioshield Penetrating Oil Sealer or Bioshield Hard Oil) to the earthen floor?
