Is this flooring truly non-toxic? I will be installing it in a babys room and he will be crawling in it. It says theres no ADDED lead, so does that mean there is lead in the flooring? I've also read that nano-coatings like that used in this product can abrade or otherwise leach from the surface and the particles can cause health problems. Is that a concern with this flooring? Thanks.

No lead has been added, however, there may be some naturally occurring in very small quantities. That's true of many chemicals such as formaldehyde which is in almost everything on the planet. The coating on the surface is either a UV cured acrylic on the cork look or a recycled PET on the wood look. Neither contain nanoparticles or aluminum oxides. Waterproof cork emits zero VOCs, has no biocides, isocyanates, PVC, phthalates or any hazardous air pollutants. It carries numerous green labels and has been third party certified both nationally and internationally by GreenGuard Gold, TuvPROFI Premium, Blue Angel, A+ French cert, Global GreenTagCertM. It does not get any better than this.
